Details:
Splash cover and enclosure protects complete stereo from the marine environment. Gimbal bracket allows easy mounting under the dash or in another convenient location. The system allows venting of the stereo amplifier heat sinks without exposing the chassis so the unit will not overheat even though it is protected from the exposure to the elements. Gasket seals out water from getting in the cracks. Fits most DIN sized, post-mount, and removable stereos. Sealed wiring is provided to keep water from entering through the rear of the enclosure (connect stereo wires to the enclosure wires inside, then connect the marked exterior wires to speakers, power, antenna, etc.)
