This marine stereo package includes the stereo, 2 waterproof speakers and a flip down splash cover.
This stereo will play standard audio CDs and also CDs burned with MP3 or WMA files. The front USB port allows you to connect an MP3 player or flash drive. Your MP3 player will be recharged while the stereo plays your digital music.
This unit is a marine stereo because it has plasticoted circuit boards to protect against corrosion in a humid and/or salt air environment and also is made of UV resistant materials. It is not completely waterproof, however so if you think it will get splashed or rained on you should use the included cover to protect it.
