This stereo consists of a sealed box (containing the CD player, amplifier, AM/FM radio and other connections) and a waterproof controller that can be conveniently surface mounted or mounted with the included bracket.
This stereo will play standard audio CDs or CDs with MP3 or WMA files burned onto them. It will also control an external CD changer (requires MCD-6 Changer sold separately). In addition, the unit has 2 pairs of Aux inputs for connecting any audio source such as iPod, MP3 player or Television.
Includes 10 foot cable to connect the controller to the main box. (extension cables are sold separately in 10, 20 and 60 foot lengths)
Additional wired remote controllers (RD-44 sold separately) may be connected via the RT20 Router (sold separately).

Important Note The documentation included with the stereo refers to features not mentioned in our description. Unfortunately, those features are not available because the accessories required to make them work are discontinued and no longer available. It is possible that you can find those accessories used someplace else like eBay, but we do not have them.

Nothing not to like. BEcause of the remote head unit, the install is flexible. Having 2 aux inputs PLUS an Ipod input and MP3 data disc compatible makes this a very nice unit.
Since it is a discontinued model, I will buy another just for spare parts. For 66 bucks it's a no brainer.
Forgot to mention:
The instructions are misprinted...I wired it up EXACTLY as per the install manual, and found the Front and Rear speakers are backwards in the diagram...(i.e. when faded to the front, the rear ones are on and vice versa).
The Green and Violet wires are acually the Front speakers, and the White and Grey ones are for the rear...the exact opposite of the manual.
